CALL FOR PAPERS COMMITTEE REGISTRATION PROGRAM | |
Workshop on Applications of Delay Tolerant Networking (A-DTN) Delay tolerant networking (DTN) has become active fields of research during the past decade. They address scenarios where traditional communication protocols fail because of very long-delayed transmissions, or because of the absence of continuous end-to-end connectivity in the network. Such environments reside at the edges of the current Internet infrastructure, such as public and private transport vehicles, underwater, satellite and deep-space networks. This workshop is meant to provide a forum for academic researchers and industry professionals to present and discuss their latest research results in the areas related to the prototype implementation, deployment and applications of delay tolerant networks. This workshop seeks novel ideas in the form of preliminary or work-in-progress results as well as mature research papers for DTNs. We also encourage position papers that address and criticize the past, current and future trends of DTN research and are intended to trigger discussions on the whole spectrum of DTNs. Topics include but are not limited to:
Important notes: Prospective authors are encouraged to submit an IEEE conference style paper with a maximum length of six (6) printed pages (including all text, figures, and references) through EDAS submission system (http://www.edas.info). Papers exceeding 6 pages will not be accepted at EDAS, nor reviewed at all. Accepted papers must be registered and presented at the workshop by one of the authors. All papers selected for publication will be published together with IEEE WCNC 2013 proceedings and will be available on IEEE Xplore database. The tentative timetable is as follows:
